Yesterday, I shared my tips on how to apply nailhead, since the sofa is made of a plethora of different plywoods, not all of the nails went in the same, so I had to remove more than usual, but about an 1.5 hours later I was finished!
Due to the padding on the side, I couldn't get as close to the edge as I would of liked ...
and a little preview of our not so exciting light in the office area ... don't worry, I have a new one to swap it with :)
Hopefully, I can make some final decisions on the cane chair this weekend ... I'm being indecisive!

Wow, the nailhead looks great!! Have you thought at all about staining the legs to match the ottoman legs? May keep that rich vibe going!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea! I have a Karlstad sofa as well and changed the legs to it, which helped a lot to make it look less Ikea-ish, but this is fabulous!

Hi! How comfortable do you think the couch is? I'm looking at getting one and I LOVE how you have styled yours. Is it a good choice for someone who gets a lot of use out of their couch?
ReplyDeleteHi Jasmina, I would say that it is pretty comfortable and I like that it is pretty deep. You can tell that it is a cheaper sofa, but for the price, I would say that it's good. We replaced the cover about 2-3 years after getting it because it was showing some wear, this one seems to be more durable. Overall, we are happy with our purchase!
